Like all royal births, many came with good tidings. Our godmothers offered something different. She gave us the gift of beauty. Beauty so magnificent that it would bring tears to the Moon herself. (Taken with instagram)

It wasn’t always like this. Let me start at the beginning… We shared the same womb, the same face. We’re twins. (Taken with instagram)

Sirens are rare around my parts of the woods. They usually live near the ocean where there are more chances of encountering big ships- more casualties. “what are you doing here?” I asked. “we heard you were in trouble. My liege sent me to offer you a haven in this time of need,” she replied in a melodic tone. Offer? Right. In this world nothing is offered for free. This will cost me greatly if I accept their help. However, it will be just as dire if I reject them. She waited quietly as I took a few minutes to gather my thoughts together. “Sheer one, please tell your Sire that I am grateful for his support. But I would not want to drag him into a matter of the family.” She looked at me with glitters in her eyes and gave a slight smirk and whispered, “do you think She would think the same, oh Great One? My Sire will not be happy with your response. Perhaps you need more time to think about it?” Insolent b***h. She must be new. I smiled at her and held out my hand . Alarm flickered in her eyes as she backed toward the door, realizing her mistake. I squeezed my hand slightly together and she grabbed her neck. “Please, pardon my words-I am sorry!” I continued squeezing. She continued to claw at my invisible hand around her neck. I finally let go and she fell to the floor gasping for air, her shoulders heaving in desperation. I waited patiently, anger still making my fingers twitch. She composed herself and stood up with her head lowered, not making eye contact. “I will relay your message to him. I will now take my leave.” I nodded and relaxed my hand,”you are dismissed.” She left. (Taken with Instagram at Nocturna)

Her last and favorite daughter. This one I sent back without a scratch. On her body, that is. (Taken with Instagram at Nocturna)
